I missed Greece, and I hadn't been to Rhodes for years, so the trip to TUI TravelCenter in May was welcome, especially since I was in the company of wonderful people, TUI travel agents, collaborators, the video production team Nelstil and colleagues from the national press.
I was reconfirmed on this occasion that Mitsis is a big name in Greek tourism, the 5 star hotels of this hotel chain being among the top hotels in Greece. And rightly so.
Quality is the watchword in the entire hotel chain, whether we are talking about interior finishes and decorations, outdoor spaces, swimming pools and beaches, kitchen and services. And the most beautiful hotel in this chain, on the island of Rhodes is without a doubt Mitsis Alila, an imposing resort built in Faliraki, on the beach of the Aegean Sea.
Mitsis Alila Resort & SPA, 5 * with its spacious lobby, decorated in Mediterranean style immediately introduces you to the holiday atmosphere, especially because through its huge windows, you can see from the entrance, the pools and the beach.
All rooms at Mitsis Alila have white, eclectic-style furniture with marble floors, and the presidential apartment that follows the hotel's Mediterranean style is a delight even for connoisseurs of luxury hotels. Decorations with silver accents and natural fibers make each object look precious and rare. The living room, the bedroom, the bathroom and the balcony, continued with a spacious terrace with jacuzzi and some fitness equipment, all in white and blue, have a special refinement, says the novel "give a penny but it's worth it". Bathrooms include luxurious bathrobes, slippers and toiletries.
Throughout the Mistsis chain, the kitchen has a special role, the fresh and varied dishes being available to guests throughout the day and even at night. Armed with the principle, I don't refrain on vacation, I was seen with a plate full of sweets at 1 in the night in the Main Restaurant, but in the absence of some photos, I don't admit anything. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the main restaurant, which has an open kitchen and specializes in Greek and international cuisine.
The dishes are delicious and even the fussy have a choice. Cold and hot appetizers, steaks, salads, traditional dishes, spaghetti, a selection of cheeses, pies, sausages, pan-fried vegetables, burgers, cakes, cakes, baklava, pancakes, ice cream, fish and seafood and I haven't listed everything, but one night I filmed the dinner dishes and you can find them in Rhodes, on my Instagram page.
Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa also offers an la carte restaurant with Italian, Greek and Pan-Asian dishes, a burger restaurant and a Pita corner.
On the beach, guests can enjoy a bar and pizza in the oven. The hotel has a bar open all day, a champagne bar overlooking the Aegean Sea, a wine bar, a pool bar and a night bar with live music.
In the hotel area there are outdoor and indoor swimming pools, with slides for adults and children, a water sports center and horse riding facilities.
The elegant SPA offers a fitness center, hammam, hot tub, treatments and massages. For children there is a swimming pool, a playground and an entertainment program.
And one important thing for us Romanians in particular: WiFi internet access is free in all areas of the property, and the internet is high speed and runs smoothly.
