Titanic Mardan Palace is the most luxurious hotel in Antalya, inspired by the grandeur of the East Ottoman buildings and the modern Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul. It was built in 3 and a half years, opened in 2009, taken over in 2019 by the Titanic hotel chain.
I wanted to see the excess of luxury in this hotel, about which I had heard so many amazing things and it happened in November 2021, together with Tui TravelCenter, the exclusive representative in Romania, of the world leader in tourism, TUI Group, the Romanian tour operator, who come with the best offer for this hotel in 2022.
Being passionate about lighting, I stepped into this "paradise of chandeliers" and gold- plated objects, so that my gaze was more on up. The marble, the solid wood, the expensive carpets, the inlaid furniture, the style sofas and the crystals that shine from all corners of the hotel, make the general impression to be that of the supreme luxury.
The hotel has expensive paintings but also a piano inlaid with gold, in the lobby. Gold-plated items are also found in rooms and bathrooms. So a photo here was a "must" even if it was just a visit, this time. I want to return, so I can film the outdoor spaces, the beach, the restaurants but also the famous entertainment programs that take place here. Titanic Mardan Palace cost $ 1.4-1.65 billion and belongs to the Russian billionaire from Azerbaijan, Telman Ismailov. The name of the hotel is given in honor of his father.
The great building was built with 23,000 sqm of Italian marble, 10,000 sqm of gold-blown leaves (a total of 25,000 kilograms of gold in the hotel), 500,000 crystals, Hermes crockery worth 1.5 million euro, huge chandeliers, the largest swimming pool 16,000 sqm (third in the world) - where a sultan's gondola ride from one end to the other takes 30 minutes, a 7500 sqm SPA center with a waterfall at the entrance that stops to allow entry center when using the VIP key.
The hotel also has a snow room (Snow Paradise Cave) for cooling after the sauna, a beach on which 9000 tons of fine white sand were brought from Egypt, 4 aquariums with 5000 fish from the Mediterranean, Pacific, Caribbean and Red Sea.
At Swim Reef, visitors will be able to swim through this 900 sqm artificial reef with a depth of 1.4m and 3 small 2.8m deep areas, where they will be trained beforehand for snorkeling and swimming with 2400-2500 fish in an environment controlled.
The opening party took place in May 2009 and lasted for 3 days, with stars such as Mariah Carey, Tom Jones, Sharon Stone, Richard Gere, Paris Hilton, Monica Bellucci and Seal taking part, along with 600 guests, including important personalities.
